Pix64

Pix64 is a tiny fantasy console that let you create games (or anything else?) by pushing pixels on an image using your favourite pixel editor.

Creating carts

Carts are 64x64 PNG image files that need to be put in the 'Carts' folder. The image must use the following palette:

• 000000    Empty
• FFFFFF    Wall
• 00FFFF    Player
• 00FF00    Goal
• FFFF00    Barrier
• FF0000    Enemy

Multicarts

You can create multicarts that will be played in sequence by suffixing the file name with '_' and a number. e.g. mycart_1, mycart_2, ...

Sharing carts

In case creativity strikes you can submit your carts:

• on Twitter using the #Pix64 hashtag
